Payment Plans
St. Joseph’s College makes available several tuition financing options
through our deferment programs. Interested students may obtain brochures
and applications from the Business Office or the School of Adult and Professional
Education Office.
Financial Aid Application

Matriculating students in the Masters Program may
apply for financial aid. Your consideration for financial aid is dependent
upon your making application and receiving official notification of your
acceptance into the college. To be considered for financial aid the student
should follow these procedures each year:
- Complete the U.S. Department of Education Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) designating St. Josephs College,
Brooklyn, NY as recipient. USDE code #002825. The FAFSA may be completed
on the Internet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
Application for fulltime students. NYS code #0755. Please note,
however, that the SJC programs are, presently, for parttime students
only.
- Complete the SJC Financial Aid Application.
- Verify student/spouse incomes by providing signed copies
of federal/state tax returns to the Financial Aid Office. Complete any
other verification requirements as requested.
- Priority for certain financial aid programs will be
given to students who adhere to recommended filing dates.

Federal Programs
SJC participates in the following federal programs for graduate students:
Federal Family Education Loan Program–Stafford Loans, Federal College
Work–Study Program, Federal Perkins Loans.

New York State Programs
TAP is for 12–credits per semester study only. SJC graduate programs are,
presently, for less than 12–credit study. Therefore, students are ineligible
to apply for TAP.
