Christina Auth Named Rookie of The Week – Again!
Second Consecutive Skyline Volleyball Honor for Freshman

Patchogue, NY – It is said that winning comes in bunches and for Christina Auth it is most certainly true. For the second consecutive week Auth has been named the Skyline Conference Women’s Volleyball Rookie of the Week (9/15/03).

Christina Auth, a freshman from East Patchogue and graduate of Bellport High School, is off to a terrific start to her collegiate career with the Golden Eagles, helping her team to a 5-2 start. The setter in twelve games last week led the team with 61 assists (5.1 apg), hit .450 with 23 kills and had 27 digs. In addition she sported a .950 serve percentage with seven aces. Auth has started in and played every minute of all 29 games for St. Joseph’s in 2003.

The Golden Eagles will travel to Swarthmore College this Saturday for their second tournament of the season. They return home for a match next Friday with Maritime at 7 pm and then host the WIAC Quadrangular on Saturday at 10 AM.
