of Arts and Sciences | Admissions Transfers comprise a large percentage of the St. Josephs student population. The College welcomes the unique perspective and range of experiences brought to the campus by transfer students.
As well as the documents and fee required for Freshman Admissions, please submit course descriptions from each college attended and a listing of courses in progress. You are not required to submit a high school transcript if you have an A.A. degree or have successfully completed 40 or more credits from an accredited college. You may transfer a maximum of 64 credits if you have an A.A. degree; certain A.A.S. degrees are also transferable. Please file your application at least six months in advance of your expected matriculation date. The Admissions Office reviews applications as they are received. In most cases a decision is mailed within two weeks of receipt of all required credentials. If you would like an assessment of your transfer status, please contact the Counselor for Transfer Students at the Admissions Office.
