Society for Human Resource Management
Human Resource Professional Development Certificate Program
St. Joseph’s College in cooperation with the Society for Human
Resource Management (SHRM) will offer a program for human resource professionals
utilizing SHRM® Learning System. Participants may choose either (1)
six alternate Saturdays or (2) an on–line learning course, where all
lessons and reviews are completed on–line. This allows you scheduling
flexibility while you prepare for your certification examination.
This course is designed to provide an overview of
key areas of human resource management. The six course modules correspond
to the fix functional
areas and to the body of knowledge tested in the profession’s HRCI
certificate examinations.
To receive a course certificate, the Saturday program participants
must attend at least four sessions and score 70% on all test; or score
70%
or better on the final examination. Online participants must score 70%
or better on the final examination.

The course is specifically designed for managers and staff with experience
