Payment Plans
St. Joseph's College makes available several tuition financing
options through our deferment programs. Interested students may obtain
brochures and applications from the Business Office or the School of Adult and
Professional Education Office.

All matriculating students, including
transfer students, may apply for financial aid. Your consideration for
a scholarship or financial aid from St. Joseph's College is dependent upon your
making application and receiving official notification of your acceptance into
the college.
To be considered for financial aid
from government or college sources, the student should follow these procedures
each year:
- Complete the U.S. Department
of Education Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) designating
St. Joseph's College, Patchogue, NY as recipient. USDE code #E00505.
The FAFSA may be completed on the Internet at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Complete the New York State Tuition
Assistance Program (TAP) Application for fulltime students. Parttime
students should complete the NYS Aid for Parttime Study (APTS) Application.
NYS code #0758.
- Complete the SJC Financial Aid Application.
- Verify parent/student/spouse incomes by providing signed copies of federal/state tax returns to the Financial Aid
Office. Complete any other verification requirements as required.
- Priority for certain financial
aid programs will be given to students who adhere to recommended filing dates.

Adult and Professional Education Grants
St. Joseph's College offers a limited number of partial tuition grants to fulltime
matriculated School of Adult and Professional Education students. Grant
amounts vary according to financial need and available funds. Award determination
is made by the Financial Aid Office.
Adult and Professional Education Transfer Scholarships
St. Joseph's College offers a limited number of partial tuition transfer scholarships to entering full-time
matriculated School of Adult and Professional Education students. Entering
transfer students with a completed Associates degree from selected programs
within certain community colleges and with a 3.3 cum or better (4 point scale)
will be considered. Certain conditions apply. Consult your Admissions counselor.
In order to receive tuition credit, SJC Grant recipients are
required to file for financial aid each year as soon as
appropriate forms are available.
Federal Programs
SJC participates in the following federal programs: Pell Grant, Supplemental
Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG), College Work Study Program, Perkins
Loan, and Family Education Loan Programs/Stafford and Plus Loans.
